Team Six Pack walked away with the Grand Champion trophy at the Brady Goat Cook Off this year; 2011. I sampled almost 40 entries in my capacity as a judge as well as as a casual attendee strolling around among the cook teams for a few hours on a blistering hot Texas day.
I hit a lot of barbecue competitions over the course of a year and the Brady Goat Cook Off is the finest one. It narrowly edges out Meridian’s National Championship up in Bosque County.
