We toiled quietly for 8 months before Austin media caught on to the hottest food parties in town. Our Scrumptious Chef Pop Up Restaurant series blew up this morning with a feature in Austin’s biggest entertainment blog: The Austinist.
This past weekend, a local journalist emailed us with a questionnaire concerning our pop up restaurants. Eric Puga authors the hottest beer blog in Austin: Craft Is Better, wherein he ruminates on all things beer, particularly, and deftly, Austin’s craft beer scene.

We pressed Willie Nelson’s old barbecue pit into service and sold out of brisket and hot guts sausage in about 3 hours.
Since then we’ve produced a total of 8 events, each one sold out with the most satisfying one being a Tex Mex party where we had to brave torrential rains. We figured we were on to something when we had a big crowd of eaters all dining under umbrellas!
