Can you remember when Fiorella’s Cafe had the finest fried chicken in New Orleans? Then your memory has served you well as C.J. Fiorella sold his old joint way back in 1999.
Since then the little restaurant has suffered hard times.
The last time we visited was around the year 2000 and the food was so bad that a frustrated manager comped our entire meal, then went to the kitchen where she launched an impressive tirade against the whole of the cooking crew.
The restaurant is currently closed while the owners recover from a fire.
The original Fiorella family has recently opened a new restaurant at 5325 Franklin Ave, New Orleans, LA 70122
