Why do I get the feeling that left to his own devices, Bayou Teche Brewing president Karlos Knott would just as soon be sitting on a back porch on some forgotten bayou playing the accordion and drinking some homebrew?
But Knott has duties to attend to, namely serving as president of Bayou Teche, one of the best breweries in the state of Louisiana.
Bayou Teche Brewing first came into my consciousness at a bonfire in Mansura, Louisiana when somebody handed me a Cocodrie out of an ice chest to go with the boudin on a stick I was eating at the time.
I was hooked.
Bayou Teche announced that they recently collaborated with Funky Buddha, Creature Comforts, Austin Beer Works and Wicked Weed at Sierra Nevada’s North Carolina brewing plant. The resultant beer will be released next summer as part of Beer Camp, Sierra’s renowned 12 pack series.
