Louisiana Daily Photo: A Cheerleader Practices At The Equestrian Statue Of Andrew Jackson

When I was a little kid my dad bought a CB radio to put in his Ford Country Squire station wagon. I immediately applied for and received in the mail an FCC license so I could broadcast my thoughts to all the listeners out there in CB land. To be a broadcaster you have to have a moniker and mine was Old Hickory.

I’m not sure why but it probably had something to do with the glorious statue of General Andrew Jackson in New Orleans French Quarter.
