Fried Chicken And Beer For $480 At Nashville’s The Stables At Husk

There’s one born every minute. Or at least that what Sean Brock of Husk in Nashville is counting on for his pop up restaurant event with guest chef Joseph Lenn of Blackberry Farm.

The Stables at Husk (Husk Jr if you will,) is a converted barn-like structure situated near the real Husk, and featuring prices that beggar the imagination.

A couple out on a date for this one night pop up will shell out $480 including tip but sans tax, for 2 plates of fried chicken and some cold beer.

Will that shit fly in Tennessee where fried chicken is dirt cheap, plentiful and delicious?

Across town at Prince’s you could pick up ninety five breast quarters which would feed roughly ninety five hearty eaters some of the best fried chicken on the planet. And that little joint’s got enough celebrity cache in this modern world to give Chef Brock a good run for his money. Or your money, depending on whether or not you go to his event with Joseph Lenn.
